Nourish the Children, Manufacturer's Rep needed in world-wide
Job Description: How do Nourish the Children products fit into the Nu Skin Enterprises compensation plan? The Nourish the Children initiative is a full PV program and distributors earn a commission per unit. We believe that the power of our compensation plan and our help in focusing our distributor efforts will drive the effectiveness of this effort to feed starving and malnourished children. How much commission does a distributor earn for each meal donated? How much will the Company earn? Nu Skin Enterprises will contribute one package of food (enough to feed a child for a month) for every 8 packages of food purchased. This is a charitable sales promotion. Distributors will earn commission for purchasing and selling products. The average percentage of commission is 42 percent. The Company typically earns ten percent of the proceeds of the sale of a product. Is it ethical to make money from someone else's misfortune? Nu Skin Enterprises is donating food, money, and time alongside its customers and independent distributors through the Nourish the Children initiative, which is a charitable sales promotion. The Company believes the initiative is an innovative business solution that will help combat malnutrition and starvation by providing a vehicle through which donations can easily be made. You can find examples of this type of assistance everywhere: someone at the grocery store, for instance, may purchase food and then, on the way out of the store, drop a can or two in a bin for the local food pantry. When they purchased the can of soup, several different individuals and organizations made money-the distributor, the supplier, the reseller, and the manufacturer among others). They still, however, helped someone in need. What we are doing is similar to that scenario but our efficiencies are far greater. How do you justify the idea of profiting financially from selling food to be donated to starving children? In most organizations, only a handful of people are available to do charitable work and little money exists to do more. Volunteers must then carry the load. It isn't long before those volunteers must return to the demands of working to support their own families and charitable efforts dwindle. In the end, the handful of paid employees and the occasional volunteers cannot begin to address the need; the number of children in need is only minimally reduced. By helping focus the resources of a huge professional sales force on the problem, there is hope that a sizeable number of the 15,000 children who die every day can be saved. Our primary goal is to save the lives of starving children around the world by increasing the number of committed people engaged in the cause. How do you plan on controlling the marketing function of this endeavor given that your 500,000 active distributors operate independently of the corporation? First, all purchases and donations are handled by the corporation, which ensures delivery of all donated products to the charitable organizations. No money donations are accepted. Second, for many years, Nu Skin Enterprises has appointed a committee devoted to the education and training of independent distributors. The Company has also employed a global staff of approximately 150 employees whose responsibilities are entirely focused on monitoring distributor compliance. Third, the distributor force itself is largely self-policing: those participating in the business are concerned about equality and often report discrepancies to the Company.

Nourish the Children AMBASSADOR needed in world-wide
Job Description: Ambassador A Nourish the Children Ambassador is a person who has not only donated through NTC to nourish starving children but has adopted NTC as a personal cause. They have made a commitment to donate at least four bags of VitaMeal each month personally and have inspired others in their first level to donate an additional 12 bags each month. (Donations are made on the Automatic Delivery program.) After two months of the donations of 16 bags, the distributor becomes an Ambassador. There are currently more then 1700 Nourish the Children Ambassadors. Ambassadors receive a special pin and are recognized in events, conventions and meetings. They also receive a tribal necklace. In indigenous cultures, the tribal necklace is primarily used to communicate position and accomplishments. A hunter may put the claw or tooth from a kill on a necklace to show others his prowess. Our tribal necklace also shows position and accomplishments within NTC with pendants for Ambassador, Chief Ambassador, Founding Ambassador, etc. We invite you to join them through your commitment to the world's children. Long-Term Ambassador (12 Month Ambassador, 24 Month Ambassador, etc) Each twelve months that a distributor or customer continues to donate as an Ambassador through Nourish the Children is another year of life for the children who receive nourishment. The bowl awarded our twelve month Ambassadors may seem a simple, unimpressive gift--just a wood bowl. But it symbolizes the 2,880 bowls, or more, filled during a year by their love. It is perhaps the greatest symbol we can offer, because this Ambassador has not just fed a child for a day, or a month, but has made a longer, greater commitment to save the life of a child. We hope that those who earn this recognition will display it proudly and reflect often on all the bowls being filled, all the children being nourished, because they care. Chief Ambassador A Chief Ambassador is an Ambassador who has inspired three others in their in their first level organization to also become Ambassadors. These are individuals who are truly committed to nourishing children as demonstrated by their efforts to motivate others to participate. The Chief Ambassador receives a hand-carved ebony walking stick that was traditionally reserved for the village Chief. The African Walking Stick is a symbol of the Chief. It is made of hand-carved ebony, a very hard wood which has been valued since ancient times. It is symbolic of his great power, influence, and love for his people. He is the one to whom his people can turn and he will help them to find health, safety and a better future. The Chief Stick is awarded to Chief Ambassadors of Nourish the Children to recognize their unselfish commitment to nourishing children around the world. These Ambassadors truly become "Chiefs" by being responsible for nourishing a village (62 people), giving them hope for a better future. Chief Ambassadors are also presented with a unique African Mask Pendant to be displayed on their Tribal Necklace. This mask pendant represents a celebration of children nourished, a commitment to continue nourishing them, a prayer for "good harvest" through NTC, and a desire for peace in troubled times. As African tribes wearing masks plead for help from their ancestors during times of drought and starvation, it is our Chief Ambassadors who answer those pleas by gathering donations from friends and family. As a "Chief" you are entitled to wear this special mask of honor.
